Donations from Funeral Directors

Funeral directors can use our platform to create tributes supporting your charity, we call these 'Tributes Fundraising for You'.

MuchLoved works across the funeral industry in the UK, with organisations large and small, offering a platform similar to the one we offer our charity partners. We provide funeral notices, collect donations and offer bereavement support to our funeral director partners.

As part of this service, funeral directors can create tributes to a deceased loved one, along with a funeral notice, for the families they work with. They can then pass the page details onto the family to own and manage the page if they wish to.

Funeral directors will typically add the details of the funeral service along with a photo and some words from the family, and share this notice on their website and social channels.

We encourage our funeral partners to set up a tribute for all the funerals that they are arranging and include a link to the tribute on the Order of Service. This allows family and friends to make a donation and offer messages of condolence wherever they are in the world.

Optimum Partners can view and access these tributes via the ‘Tributes Fundraising for You’ page, found in the drop-down menu under the 'Tributes' link of their Partner Area. The summary information is the same as shown on the 'Your Tributes' page, but here you can see 'Source' icons that show where the tribute was created.

The white dove icon shows that the tribute was created by a funeral director. Hovering your mouse over the icon will show you the name of the organisation that created the tribute. You can also find this information when you download the Tribute Report.

A purple ribbon in the 'Source' column shows that the tribute was created via our website muchloved.com, or by the service of another charity. These may still be tributes with a funeral collection but you will need to view the tribute to confirm this.
