Answers to the five questions that we hear most often
Our friendly support team is on hand to help with queries big and small, and are happy to talk you through any questions that you have. We asked them their top five questions, and have put together some helpful hints. Here are their top five FAQs:

We do charge transactional fees when we process donations to charities. MuchLoved is a social enterprise, and the fees we charge are how we are sustainable as an organisation; they are used to cover our administration costs only. Our online donation processing service is run strictly on a not-for-profit basis and there are no other charges or fees.

We charge an administration fee of 3.2% on the donation and Gift Aid. There is also a fee charged by the card processing company of 1.3% on the donation only.

Individual users who set up a tribute page will never be charged for having their page. It is an enduring page - theirs for life, and unless they want a little more space to add several particularly large video files*, or a lot of photos to their page it’s entirely free. Forever.

*We offer 100MB for free automatically with each page, and it costs just 99p for a further 50MB if you want to add lots of photos and video files.
Dedication Pages are free fundraising pages available to our charity subscription partners, as part of your Partnership Package. Standalone fundraising pages, our Dedication Pages allow donors to add a photo and a message along with a donation.

Dedication Pages are quick and easy to set up, and are perfect for a fundraising campaign, special occasion or event, where you want supporters to leave a one-off donation and message and picture. They are also ideal for a Christmas or other seasonal campaign, and can be tailored for you by our design team, a bespoke design with your branding and images.
Yes you can. Donations made online through our tribute pages are paid to MuchLoved Charitable Trust, a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 1118590) who are then able to claim the Gift Aid on any relevant donations from HMRC.

We then pay the donations and associated Gift Aid to you in one payment on a monthly basis, usually around the 15th of the month for donations collected and processed in the previous month. The individual donations, Gift Aid and processing fee are all clearly visible in the Payment Reports issued once the donations have been transferred (please see question 4 for more information).
All charities have access to a Payment Report, issued as soon as the donations are transferred over to you and accessible via your Partner Area. If you need access to this please make the request in writing by emailing our support team: support@muchloved.com.

Subscription charity partners are able to access more detailed reports created in real-time, along with customised alerts from within their Partner Area. If you need any help with using the reports please contact our Support Team.
MuchLoved subscription charity partners can include a bespoke GDPR compliant marketing opt-in request, that can be presented to tribute fund creators, donors and anyone who sets up an event within a tribute. You can amend this as needed to match your supporter journey.

MuchLoved doesn't collect GDPR marketing response ourselves, therefore non-subscription based charities cannot market to users, but they can engage with the donors by thanking them.
