MuchLoved works with an expert bereavement counselling service called GriefChat, designed to offer anyone bereaved a safe space to grieve and explore their feelings, wherever they are.
GriefChat was designed so that bereaved people could communicate quickly and easily with a professional bereavement counsellor - and not have to wait for long periods of time for a call back from a service, or be on a waiting list for support.
The service operates via a pop-up chat box on a computer, phone or tablet, and is totally free for your families to use. They can chat to a specially qualified bereavement counsellor from 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday, and can send an email outside of those times; counsellors will reply as soon as they can.
All of the counsellors that work for GriefChat are experts in their field, they are qualified as a minimum to diploma level in counselling and/or psychotherapy and many have degrees and postgraduate qualifications, as well as specific training and experience in bereavement. They are all DBS checked and have regular ongoing training and development relevant to supporting bereaved people through the service.
